One of our biggest goals at KNOW is to provide a place where those diagnosed with diabetes can come for advice, community, and — of course — food.

Through our work developing delicious baked goods and other treats, all sweetened with allulose, we hope to make life just a little bit sweeter for anyone that needs to keep a close eye on their glycemic index and insulin levels.

This is why we are thrilled to announce that we've teamed up with Mediaplanet on its new multi-platform campaign for Diabetes Awareness.

A new study suggests 1 in 3 U.S. adults could have diabetes by 2050 barring serious lifestyle and medical changes, which makes now the perfect time to raise awareness of and change the conversation around the disease.

Articles in the campaign focus on how diet and exercise can help diabetics manage their condition; the current state of diabetes treatment and what researchers are doing to reverse trends related to the disease; and what celebrities and activists are doing to raise diabetes awareness and get people to take control of and manage their conditions.

The print component of the campaign is being circulated in today’s edition of USA Today, and you can explore the online version here.

If you've picked up a hard copy of the campaign, please share it with us on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Simply tag us @knowfoods and add the hashtag #diabetesawareness.
