KNOW Better Toast

Make better breakfast when you toast KNOW Better Slices and add your favorite toppings. Each KNOW Better Slice is hearty enough to hold up to just about any topping you throw at it — so from avocado and pepper to eggs and sugar-free bacon, the sky's the limit with our toast. But don't worry if you're fresh out of ideas. We've listed our favorite combos below.

Each recipe below serves 1

Cream Cheese and Lox Toast

Toast one KNOW Better Slice until browned and crisp. Top with 2 to 3 tablespoons plain cream cheese and 2 to 3 slices of sugar-free smoked salmon. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top of the salmon, followed by a pinch or two of fresh thyme leaves. Serve.

Bacon and Egg Toast

In a small skillet, cook 1 slice of sugar-free bacon until crisp. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. While the bacon is cooking, bring a small pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add 1 large egg and boil for 7 minutes. Drain immediately and run under cold water until cool enough to handle. Peel.

Once the bacon and egg are ready, toast one KNOW Better Slice until browned and crisp. Smash the egg on top of the toast. Break the bacon into bite-sized pieces and distribute it over the egg. Top with a few fresh parsley leaves and a sprinkle of flaky salt. Serve.

Blueberry-Almond Butter Toast

Toast one KNOW Better Slice until browned and crisp. Top with 2 tablespoons freshly made or natural store-bought almond butter and a small handful of fresh blueberries. Serve.

Avocado Toast

Toast one KNOW Better Slice until browned and crisp. Split one small avocado in half. Save one half for later, then scoop out the second half onto the toast. Smash with a fork, then top with small spritz of lime. Drizzle about 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil on top and sprinkle with flaky salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve.

Hummus and Tomato Toast

Toast one KNOW Better Slice until browned and crisp. Top with 3 to 4 tablespoons sugar-free plain hummus and a thick slice of fresh tomato. Garnish with flaky salt and chopped fresh rosemary leaves. Serve.
