Craving a burger but don't feel like firing up the grill? We feel you. This ultra-easy indoor turkey burger recipe is prepared entirely under the broiler, and takes less than 20 minutes. Add a KNOW Better Bun, some KNOW Better Ketchup and the toppings of your choice!
1 pound ground turkey, preferably 85% lean
Kosher or sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 KNOW Better Buns, split in half
KNOW Better Ketchup, for serving
Toppings of your choice, such as tomato slices, lettuce leaves and avocado
Heat broiler to high with a rack 8 to 10 inches below the heating element.
While the broiler heats, divide the ground turkey into two patties and place on a foil-lined broiler-safe rimmed baking sheet. Use your fingers to press a walnut-sized divot in the center of each patty. Season generously with salt and pepper.
Place the burgers under the broiler and cook until browned and about 150 degrees in the center, 6 to 8 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.
Place the buns, cut side up, under the broiler and cook until golden brown 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Serve the burgers on the buns with ketchup and the toppings of your choice.
