Pass the guacamole! Our KNOW Better Margaritas may not exactly count as health foods, but they're certainly healthier when they're made with KNOW Better Sweetener (aka allulose). This twist on big-batch margaritas has all the flavor of the classic drink, but with a little less sugar.
1 1/4 cups KNOW Better Sweetener
1 cup water
2 cups blanco tequila
1 cup Grand Marnier
1 cup Simple Syrup (above)
1 cup cold water
3/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (not the stuff in the lime shaped bottle)
Salt, for glasses (optional)
To make the simple syrup: In a small saucepan, combine the sweetener and water and place over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until the sweetener has dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool completely.
To make the cocktails: In a large pitcher, combine the tequila, Grand Marnier, Simple Syrup, water, and lime juice.
Dampen the rims of rocks classes and dip in salt, if desired. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour in the margarita mixture. Enjoy immediately.
